Ian has been working in private equity advisory since 2008 and had started the North American business that has now become Bright Harbor Advisors. Previously, Ian was a Vice President at JP Morgan in the Structured Credit Sales team and responsible for distributing and marketing synthetic CDOs along with other credit products to a broad range of institutional clients. Prior to this, Ian worked on the Swaps Marketing desk and Credit Portfolio desk at JP Morgan and spent time in both the New York and London offices. Ian’s career at JP Morgan has spanned across many asset classes and various distribution roles. Ian completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Massachusetts (Amherst) and received an MBA from CASS Business School in London.
Brian began his career in finance in 2007 as a wealth advisor with a division of Citigroup, advising investors using holistic financial planning strategies. He then transitioned his focus to institutional money management by joining Transamerica Capital Management, marketing retirement products and services to independent wealth advisors in broker/dealers, banks, and major wire house firms. Brian is the former Director of Marketing & Business Development of Crescat Capital, a thematic global macro money manager, and former Business Development Consultant of Weatherstone Capital Management, a third-party model portfolio strategist. He also served as Senior Executive-Origination-US for Melior Capital Management, a Swiss-based coinvestment and advisory life sciences placement agent. Most recently, Brian was a Managing Director with Weild & Co., a middle-market investment bank, working with founders and entrepreneurs in seeking out and securing financing from institutional investors. Brian studied Finance and Management at Regis University and is Series 6, 63, and 82 licensed with FINRA.
Michael is an Associate with Bright Harbor Advisors, where he is responsible for investor coverage throughout North America. Most recently, Michael was an investor relations associate with OneWall Communities, where he was involved in fundraising efforts for the firm’s managed funds, and joint venture acquisitions. There, he assisted in raising capital from institutional investors as well as private wealth clients, and oversaw investor relations functions. Previously, Michael worked with TritonLake, a boutique placement agent that assists fund managers in raising capital from the private wealth channel. Michael began his career in the wealth management field, and has held roles in real estate acquisitions. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Penn State University, and currently holds the Series 7 and 63 licenses
